New Album Sinker is Totally Punk
Provocative, raw and the truest punk rock album to ignite from Rockledge, Florida. With each track at about 1:30 runtime, Coyote Van Shakedown’s debut album Sinker leaves no room for filler. Let’s be honest... “punk” has lots it’s way since the likes of Sum 41 and Good Charlotte corrupted the stage and sound. This album begs to differ.
Coyote Van Shakedown sounds as if they’ve emerged right alongside influences The Descendents, NOFX and Guttermouth. Good time moods are queued once Joey Dinis snarls and laughs from behind the drum set. Most prudently (Vocalists/Guitarist) Robert Lane’s robust throat swells a reminiscent touch of Propagandhi. Rather than drowning it’s listeners with politics, Robert is capable of sharing emotion in front of thick guitar riffs and chanty choruses. As always, Johnny Smink compliments with a dice of harmony while delivering inspiring flexibility on the bass.
Currently the band is combining local touring with their album release, and this trio never fails to perform a raunchy and titillating set. Sinker may be a short album, but your destined to love it for a long time. Dig this treasure up on Bandcamp.
